i'm referring to the little icon that appears in internet explorer/ firefox etc at the top of a page next to the page or site name. for example, yahoo has a y! you joomla has a y too . wiliki has a w ..google a g and so forth.

also, how do you change the text behind your logo? :-)

and where do you manipulate the site name which appears in search engines? if you search for my site, it still says...

Most of this you do in template manager (Extensions/Template Manager/Youmovies)

Look at the parameters SEO settings. Here you can change your site's Description and Keywords. Those keywords are the one that appear 'behind' your logo.

In global configuration you can also change the joomla text to your own.

ok but what about the little icon? i should probably need to upload a photo. it looks about the same size as a smiley face but they are are the top of each page. for instance, youjoomla support forums has a Y in it.

Now I get it what you mean by the tab icon and text :)

About the small icon you are refering to it is called favicon.ico
this is normally small image 16px x 16px
you must save it in this format ico and replace the one on the site.

The text to show up on the Browser tab, you can change in Menu manager
Main Menu open Home

Look at the Parameters System
There you can change your Page Title..

ok thanks. so where is that small image? where is it stored?

as for the page title, i did change it in home parameters but nothing has changed.

in main menu home parameters do you turn page title on or off? i tried both without success.
