Read More Not Working

I cannot get the read more to work properly in User Position #1, which is Populalr News slider in Newsline... (could be problem with JCE Editor based on what Ive read in Joomla Forum, but they have not come up with fix)

However, I notice in the custom module that you have a couple of lines of copy, then Read More and no more copy... are we doing something other than read more here?

As always, thanks for you help... its usually pretty simple when you splain it!
