I had an error installing template. I found the available templates, thanks. when I downloaded it into my folder on desktop, I extracted files. when it asked for the template browse I didnt understand why it didnt select whole folder, it broke down into files from the template and hence the error appeared when uploaded. THe template I chose was the elegence. Now should I have downloaded the template from joomla site into a specific place? Sorry very confused.

When you install a template you dont unzip the file. You leave the file zipped. And you must already have a copy of Joomla installed.

If you are installing a demo, You install the demo like you install Joomla. Joomla is not already installed. The demo is a full copy of Joomla with a sample database included. If you install the demo, you wouldnt have to install anything else. And you website would look just like the demo on this site.
