Hi - Since Microsoft no longer supports IE 6 except in extended support, and considering that the security advisory site Secunia reported an outstanding 24 unpatched vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer 6 as of February 9, 2010, I don't think making anything compatible with it is a wise business decision.

That said, I can't imagine why this should really be an issue. Are you in a situation where you or your users must use IE 6? Updates are free, and at least going to IE 7 would eliminate the message you receive. Since you are getting this message, I think it is safe to assume you will run into issues with it.

Even I though it the same, But around 21.18% users use still using IE6 as of 2010-03-01.

I consulted my Friend and he said :

Quote:
On my main site I have ~7-8% visitors with MSIE v6.0
And if Web Development Company Site will not be accessible by potential customers, it's even funny in this case. Developers should be able to maintain own site ahead of changes to come. No access = No orders..
When considering the fact that being a Web Development Company, Having IE6 Issue may cause a bad reputation.

Can you explain this line re-framing it. Does it mean that not everyone gets this error and only some?

Also is there any update released from your side that fixes this issue?

Let me know. I am eager to get this solved.

Thanks!

Hi - I used Adobe Browserlab to visit the demo of YouApps with IE 6, and got no such message. Perhaps you should try getting the newest version of this template and testing. Closing thread.
