[SOLVED] Confessions of a Template Pirate

Well, maybe not as bad as a pirate....I am new to Joomla and noticed that (all?) Joomla template providers have some sort of club membership. So I have been evaluating not only templates, but the template provider/designer companies also.

I came across one of your templates as a free download. It included the Demo content. But it didn't work so well. I am wondering if you have cripple-ware out there or if my purchased products will have the same bad results.

Here is what happened. I got the demo content installed ok per instructions here and in readme. After loging in as admin with password created during web-based setup I noticed that many articles were missing, and strangely, my Super Administrator login had restricted access.

What say you?

ok , fair play , you confess that you got the w stuff , but sorry we will not provide any support or instructions for such downloads and if we find out what the domain it is , it will be reported to the hosting company and taken down as usual.

Its not live anywhere. I was just playing with it then deleted it. Not asking you to support it. Please read 3rd sentence in 2nd paragraph. Therein lies my question
