restricted index access

I keep getting restricted index access after uploading the template I purchased yesterday from you to my server. Why?

Do you have Joomla installed? And how did you upload the template?

yes, joomla 1.5 is on server. Uploaded ftp by piecemeal. I unzipped the files and uploaded them to the public.html folder and then also put the modules in the module folder

So are we talking about you uploading the demo and a Joomla installation.

I purchased the newsline template from youjoomla yesterday. It downloaded fine.

Ok, let me ask you a question. Did you download the demo or just the template.

I dont know if I downloaded the demo, I have verification email showing purchase and I had to go to the site, register and download it.

Go back to the download section and download the demo. Make sure you unzip file. And you need a mysql5 database installed to use the demo.


Install Using a FTP client:

You have to download the Joomla 1.5 Demo installation. Unzip the file and inside you will find a complete Joomla install.

The folder that contains Joomla 1.5 its the News_Line_15_Demo folder. Thats the folder you want to upload to your sever Using a FTP client. Make sure you upload the right folder. Look inside the folder first to make sure that is the Joomla 1.5.

Than you install it like you install a regular installation of joomla. Use the same data base as you used before. And make sure you install the sample database when asked.

you uploaded wrong version, there are 2 template Jomla 1.5 and Joomla1.0.15 the 5 might trough you off
